How We Review Spinson

This page explains how facts get onto Spinson Play, because in gambling content that process matters as much as the finished page. We’d rather publish a shorter table with an honest gap in it than a complete-looking one with an invented number.

Where facts come from

The core details on this site — Spinson’s UK Gambling Commission licence (account 39483), the operating company AG Communications Ltd, the welcome bonus structure and its 35x wagering requirement, the games catalogue and payment methods — are sourced from Spinson’s own UK-facing site and its published terms, checked against our internal data file that every page on this site pulls from. We don’t use secondary aggregator sites as a primary source for licence numbers or bonus terms, because those details need to trace back to the operator itself.

What we do when a figure isn’t published

Not every number a player might want is public. Spinson, like many operators, doesn’t publish an exact RTP for every individual slot, a hard cap on the welcome bonus, or how long the deposit-match portion of the offer stays active once credited — though it does state that free spins winnings expire after 21 days. When that’s the case, we say so directly on the relevant page — “Spinson does not publish this figure” — rather than filling the gap with an average or an estimate dressed up as fact. A single missing data point doesn’t stop a page from being useful; it just means that point gets described in words instead of shown as a number.

How we handle the bonus and wagering maths

Wherever the welcome bonus appears on this site, the 35x wagering requirement sits next to the headline offer, not buried several paragraphs down or only in a linked terms page. That’s a deliberate choice, not a formatting accident: a 100% match sounds different once you know the bonus credited has to be staked 35 times over before any of it can be withdrawn. See our bonuses page for the full breakdown.

What we don’t do

We don’t publish fabricated player testimonials, invented “big winner” stories with specific names and amounts, or star ratings built on review data we can’t verify — that’s why you won’t find Review or AggregateRating markup anywhere on this site, including on our reviews page, which is editorial analysis rather than a review aggregator. We also don’t repeat gambling myths as fact: outcomes on licensed slots are generated independently on each spin, so ideas like a “hot” or “cold” machine, or staking up to “win back” a loss, don’t hold up, and we say so on our responsible gambling page rather than leaving them unchallenged.

We don’t promote credit cards as a way to fund an account, because UK law has prohibited credit cards for gambling deposits since April 2020; our payments content only covers debit cards, e-wallets and bank transfer methods actually available for that purpose.

Updates

Content is reviewed periodically and updated when Spinson changes its bonus terms, licensing details, game catalogue or accepted payment methods. When a page is updated after its original publication date, that’s reflected in the page’s own metadata rather than backdated. Corrections can be sent to admin@spinson-play.com.

Who writes this

Content is researched and written by Erin Callaghan. See our about us page for how this site is funded and how that relationship is kept separate from what gets published.

Frequently asked questions

Where do the figures on this site come from?
Primarily from Spinson's own UK-facing site and published terms. Figures Spinson has not published — such as an exact RTP for a specific slot or a withdrawal cap — are left out of tables and described honestly in the text instead of estimated.
Does Spinson Play publish player reviews or star ratings?
No. We don't have a verified pool of real player reviews to draw on, so we don't publish star ratings, review scores or testimonials anywhere on this site. Our reviews page is editorial analysis, not aggregated user feedback.
